FC Bayern

PICK WON

Bayern leads the Bundesliga, but they need to keep a good fight today and win another points. Gomez, they best scorer is out, but this is just chance to Klose, he will try to show that he is real scorer and try to get more confidence from coach by showing great performance. Other striker is Ivica olić, who will sure help us with over. On other side Stuttgart will give a goof fight too, at least they coach say so. Head to head indicates that Stuttgart when ever visits Allianze Arena scores, at least they score since 2004. At home Bayern play 65% over and Stuttgart plays 52% over on road. In last matches we see Bayern conceding and scoring a lot, except last match versus Schalke but that was German Cup match. Stuttgart on other hand got 4 goals from Barcelona, but against Bremen who is as well attacking team as Bayern they play 2-2.

Aston Villa @ Chelsea

Saturday, March 27, 2010

Spring is a wonderful time for sports betting and offers all sorts of excitement for fans. The sportbook is full of pro hockey and basketball games as the respective leagues move towards the playoffs.  Also on the agenda is the Sweet Sixteen and plenty of March Madness betting.  There is more yet, as English League soccer has but a couple months of games remaining as races for the top positions heat up.

The Premiership features a slate of compelling games this weekend, one of which showcases powerhouse Chelsea hosting Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.  Both teams are looking for points to move ahead in the table, but they are playing for very different goals.

Chelseas sits at the top of the table and will advance to the Champions League along with Manchester United and Arsenal—it is just a matter of decided what team will finish in first, second, or third. Chelsea currently has 68 points, one behind Man U, and one ahead of arsenal.  In the second tier of the league, Aston Villa sits at seventh with 51 points.  Liverpool with the same points but more wins sits at sixth, while Manchester City has 53 and Tottenham Hotspur retains fourth with 54.  Both teams are looking to keep pace with the teams around them, but Villa comes in more desperate.

The Villains has missed opportunities to gain important points of late, drawing against Sutherland late in the game on the leg of John Carew. While the Villa star saved a point for the club, they squandered two more in a game they should have prevailed. The Norwegian netted his fifth goal in the last sixth, and the home goal was his 14th on the season.

Meanwhile Chelsea comes in riding high after a 5-0 trouncing of Portsmouth.  However, they have lost two of their past six league games in a span that saw them knocked out of the UEFA Cup as well. They have struggled with consistency with a league draw prior to the Portsmouth match, and a loss in Champions play before that.

In their only previous match up this season, the Villains edged the Blues at Villa Stadium by a 2-1 score.  This game, however, is hosted by Chelsea in a stadium where they have only lost one league game all season.

Bet:  Chelsea comes in as the favorite and with good reason. They have sat atop the league all season, and are nearly dominate at home.  However, Villa has proven they can beat Chelsea, and they come in desperate for points as they are currently positioned outside the qualifying spots.  Despite dropping points in their last game, they Villains have momentum and will draw Chelsea on the road and earn an important point.

Manchester City versus Everton

Wednesday, March 24, 2010, 15:45 EST

While the NCAA has taken over the United States for a few weeks, the Sportsbook is full of a variety of exciting sporting events. March Madness odds are available, but it’s hardly the only event taking place. The NBA and NHL head towards the playoffs, and in England, Premier League soccer is at the center of everyone’s attention.

This week an exciting matchup takes place between two clubs fighting for a spot in the Europa League, and possibly a qualifying birth in the Champions League. Everton travels to Manchester City for match of two teams in the top half of the table, separated by eight points in the table.

Manchester City sits at fifth spot, two points behind Tottenham Hotspur for the fourth position, but only three points ahead of seventh place Aston Villa.  Everton sits at eight, but strong play of late has them moving up the table and starting to threaten the second tier teams behind Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal, who are far ahead of the rest of the league.

Both teams come into the match with plenty of confidence, as Manchester United has three draws and three victories in their last six matches.  Moreover, they have yet to lose a home Premier league game this season, which does not bode well for Everton, a club in desperate need of three points to stay competitive.

The Toffees have had success scoring of late, with nine goals in their last three matches; two victories and a draw. With only three road victories this season, however, Everton will have a tough battle at the City of Manchester Stadium.

However, when the two clubs met earlier in the year, Everton triumphed, albeit at home, by a score of 2-0.

Manchester City forward and former Everton player Joleon Lescott has been ruled out of the rematch with his former club.  It is the second time an injury has prevented Lescott from facing the Toffeemen. Prior to the match against Fulham, he pulled a muscle in his leg during warmup, and will be sidelined for some time.  Everton meanwhile will be without Victor Anichebe after a collision in the game against Bolton.

Bet:

Manchester City comes in as a large favourite, and with good reason. They are a powerhouse at home, and have played well all season.  They have plenty of reason to continue their strong play as they fight Hotspur, Liverpood, and Villa for fourth position.  Everton has confidence, but not enough talent to earn a victory on the road.  They are a long shot to catch sixth position, but they have the ability to play well enough to earn an impressive road draw in Manchester City.

Sportsbook reviews will help balance out all the sporting events this month and keep track of the odds and lines.  There is still time to bet on March Madness and enjoy exciting college basketball action this spring.
