This weekend features a full slate of soccer action, with the top leagues around Europe playing, including the English Premiership League featuring some of the best teams in the world. The top team in the league, Manchester City looks to continue their dominance as they host an opportunistic Stoke City club.

Atop the table with just one loss to their credit, Manchester City have earned 13 wins through 16 games, and have 41 points on the year. However well they have played, though, Manchester United is just two points back on the table, and Tottenham Hotspur not too far back in third.

They play at home this weekend where they have won all eight games they have played this season. In those eight matches they have allowed a mere four goals while netting 25. Sergio Aguero leads the team with 11 goals while Edin Dzeko has scored 10, and Mario Balotelli has eight on the year.

They are a force at home, and they will host eighth place Stoke City, a club coming off a 2-1 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers. They have seven wins on the season, with three victories coming on the road. They have 24 points, four points clear of ninth place Norwich City, and only three back of seventh place Newcastle.

Still, Stoke has allowed 25 goals this year in 16 matches, while only score 18. Despite winning three times on the road, they have just six road goals and have allowed 16 away from home.

Manchester comes into the match have beat Arsenal 1-0 at home to regain their winning ways. That match followed their first loss of the season, a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on the road. Prior to the Arsenal win, City had won every home by at least two goals.

Stoke City is experiencing a surge of late, winning four straight Premiership matches. Two of the victories were on the road, including the latest to Wolverhampton, and a previous 1-0 win at Everton.

Betting lines: Manchester City is the big favourite and rightly so. They have not only won every home game, they have done so easily and with great defense and offense. Manchester City will continue their winning ways against a weak defensive team, winning 4-0.

Blackburn and West Bromwich Face Off and Look to Break Free

As December continues, the sports landscape gears up for a big month of action with plenty of sports betting available. This weekend features a full slate of soccer action, with the top leagues around Europe playing, including the English Premiership League featuring some of the best teams in the world. Wolverhampton Wanderers play at home this weekend as they host opportunistic Stoke City as both look to get closer to the top of the table.

Wolverhampton is desperate for points as they sit in 17th position, just a spot out of the relegation zone. They have four wins and two draws, good for 14 points. Despite their low standing, they have a great shot to move up significantly this weekend as they play at home. Six teams are within three points ahead of Wolverhampton, and even a draw could see them move up a couple spots. However, with a loss, Wanderers could see Wigan Athletic move ahead of them and drop Wolverhampton into the drop zone.

To earn three points, Wolverhampton will have to beat 8th position Stoke City. Through 15 games Stoke have earned six wins and three draws, good for 21 points this season. They sit at the top of the third tier of teams, behind Newcastle and Liverpool who have 26 points each. Behind Stoke are Aston Villa and Norwich City, both of which has 19 points.

Stoke have played well at home this year, but have had little success on the road. They have two away wins and one draw on the road, but have only managed four goals in the process. Their two road wins were by a 1-0 margin, but their road losses including a 5-0 beating by Bolton and a 4-0 loss to Sunderland.

They take to the road on a three game winning streak, a stretch that saw them beat Blackburn at home, Everton on the road, and Tottenham Hotspur at home by a 2-1 score.

Wolverhampton meanwhile have lost three of four, most recently to Manchester United by a 4-1 mark. However, those three losses were all on the road, and WOlverhampton have won their last two home matches and have not lost in their last three home games.

Betting lines: Stoke City gets the slight edge, but Wolverhampton is worth a shot. Both teams are playing well of late, but Stoke on the road is not as good as Wolverhampton at home. Take the Wanderers in the upset as they win big, 3-0.

This weekend features a full slate of soccer action, with the top leagues around Europe playing, including the English Premiership League featuring some of the best teams in the world. Blackburn Rovers play at home this weekend as they host up and coming West Bromwich United and look to get closer to the top of the table.

The two clubs are sitting in the bottom half of the league but are not out of the hunt yet in the first half of the season. Blackburn Rovers have won only two games this season out of 15 and have just 10 points on the season. They are in second to last place, in the relegation zone, and are four points from clearing the red zone.

They have a chance to get closer, however with three points and a victory at home against West Bromwich Albion, another struggling team. Bromwich sit in 15th position with four wins, three draws, and 15 points.

Blackburn have won both of their two wins at home, but have also lost five. They have 10 goals for and 21 goals against. Bromwich, meanwhile, have two wins and tow draws on the road this season, making them a tough opponent this week. They have scored seven goals on the road while allowing 12.

After earning just their second win of the season, Blackburn had a chance to win their third at Sunderland. They were leading late in the game, 1-0, but conceded two goals and dropped the match 2-1. In their two home wins, however, Blackburn has scored a total of eight goals, four in each game. In their other matches, though, they have scored a total of 16 goals in 13 goals, but only two at home in five losses.

Bromwich is struggling as well, as they have not won in three matches, and only won once in their past six. They dropped a home match to Wigan Athletic 2-1 in their last contest, and have drawn their last road match.

Betting lines: At home Blackburn is the slight favourite despite their defiences. They have shown the capability to score at home and produce victories, and against an awful Bromwich club, they have a good chance to win. Take Blackburn with a high scoring victory.

Liverpool battles upstart QPR in Preimership Action

As October continues, the sports landscape gears up for a big month of action, with most notably horse racing and Breeders Cup betting. With baseball over and the NBA in a lockout, fans turn to hockey-follow all the action and NHL scores. For more help and advice on betting, check out price per head booking and bookie software. In addition, look to sportsbook reviews for addition information during the dramatic season of sports.

This weekend features a full slate of soccer action, with the top leagues around Europe playing, including the English Premiership League featuring some of the best teams in the world. Perennially all-stars Liverpool play at home this weekend as they host up and coming Queens Park Rangers and look to get closer to the top of the table.

Sitting in the second tier of teams in seventh position, Liverpoool is looking up at several teams and has a shot to move into the top five in the coming weeks. Through 14 games they have six victories and five draws, good for 23 points. They are five points ahead of eighth place Stoke City, and seven points ahead of many other teams back in the middle of the table. Ahead of them, however, are two clubs within reach: Newcastle United and Arsenal, both at 26 points.

They play at home this weekend with a great shot at three points as they host the middle Queens Park Rangers. QPR, promoted from the English League last year, sit in 12th positions following a draw, and have 16 points on the year. Seven other teams have between 14 and 16 points, and a win would help QPR keep place with clubs this weekend looking to break free from the crowd.

To get a win they will have to play well on the road, something they have done often this year. Though they have lost four on the road this year, they have won three, proving to be just as good on the road as they are at home. In two road wins this season, they have shut out their opponent.

Liverpool, however, has not played the greatest at home, and actually has earned just two of its six wins in Liverpool. Still, they have not lost at home, drawing five matches while scoring nien goals and allowing six.

Liverpool has two wins over Chelsea over the past couple weeks, one in the Premiership and one in Carling Cup action, but has lost their last match on the road to Fulham and have one just once in their past four matches, and just twice in their past seven.

Betting lines: At home Liverpool is the clear favourite and rightly so. Though they haven’t won a lot at home, they haven’t lost, and are playing a much weaker opponent. Look for Liverpool to get on the board early and hold for the victory, beating Queens Park Rangers 2-1.
