San Jose has 19 wins this season, 10 of which have come at home. They will play in San Jose where they have lost just one game all season, outscoring their opponents 41-20. The Los Angeles Galaxy, meanwhile, have played well on the road, with six wins and four draws this season.
The Galaxy have had a tough schedule after four straight home matches, all victories, drawing Colorado on the road before falling to Real Salt Lake at home. They play San Jose and then host Seattle to close the season.
The two clubs met twice before this season, and San Jose won both contests in high scoring affairs. In Los Angeles they beat the Galaxy 3-2, and back in San Jose they won 4-3.
Betting lines: This looks to be another high scoring match, as both teams like to score. The problem for the Galaxy is, their defense is weaker and they are on the road. The Earthquakes are favoured and rightly so. Look for them to come out strong and beat the Galaxy putting a damper on their playoff hopes.
