Real Salt Lake meanwhile will look for their seventh road win this season. They have played strong on the road lately, winning two in a row, both in Los Angeles, routing Chivas 4-0 and beating the Galaxy 2-1.
The Sounders, meanwhile, remain at home after a 3-0 victory against Portland. Seattle has not allowed a goal in their last two matches, but in their two matches against Real this season, they have not scored. One match ended in a 0-0 draw, while Salt Lake won the other match 1-0. In fact, Real has allowed just three goals in their last six matches, and have five shutouts on the road this season. Seattle and Salt Lake have allowed the fewest goals against in the western conference this season.
Betting Lines: The Sounders are at home and are rightly favoured in this match, but not by much. These are two very evenly matched teams, and this game will be a tightly contested affair. Seattle gets the edge and Real won’t be able to continue their road streak, as the Sounders win 2-0.
